Common Name or Meaning The Beautiful Octomeria

Found in southeastern and southern Brazil in primary forests at elevations over 1200 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with stiff ramicauls carrying a single, almost terete dark green leaf that blooms on a fascile of 3 to 6 single flowered inflorescence.
Part of the O gracilis Alliance with O gracilis, O saudersiana, O taracuana and O wawrae and is distinguished by the straight leaves and small delicate plants
