Common Name The Lesser Octomeria

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Guyana and Surinam in rainforests at elevations of 300 to 600 meters as amini-miniature sized, erect to pendulous, hot to warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with a thin stem enveloped by a basal sheath and another above and carrying a single apical, erect, dull dark green, fleshy leaves that blooms in the fall on a 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence enveloped by a few bracts and arising from the base of the leaf.
