Part of the SECTION Planifolia O ochroleuca alliance with O estrellensis, O itatiaiae, O minuta, O ochroleuca, O rhodoglossa, O rubrifolia and O setigera. Plants in this alliance are under 2” [5 cm] in size and hve long-acuminate sepals and petals.
