Found in Santa Catarina State of southern Brazil

Part of the SECTION teritifoliae-Scirpoidae O lichenocola Alliance with O aloefolia, O cariocana, O fimbriata, O lichenicola and O spannagelii and are distinguished by thye terete, curvered or straight leaves on tiny plants that have a fimbriate lip.
