Found in Venezuela, northern Brazil and Ecuador at elevatioons of 400 to 500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an erect, sub-terete ramicaul enveloped by 2 to 3, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thin, hard, stiff, elliptic, recurved to sharp thin margins, obtuse leaf that blooms on a fascile of short successively single flowered inflorescence
