Found in southeastern Xizang and Yunnan provinces of China India, Thailand and Malaysia in humid broad-leaved, evergreen forests at elevations of 750 to 1600 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with distant, abaxially pale green, adaxially dark green, narrowly oblong to ovate-lanceolate, acute, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, peduncle 2.4 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm] long, rachis 1.6 to 2.8" " [4 to 7 cm] long, lax, 5 to 10 flowered inflorescence with narrowly ovate, acuminate, outer surface pubescent, slightly shorter to somewhat exceeding the ovary floral bracts.
