Found in northeastern Madagascar in littoral forests at elevations around 10 meters as a large sized, hot growing terrestrial with fusiform pseudobiulbs carrying a single, linear, acute leaf that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a simple, [65 to 75 cm] long, 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence.
