Common Name or Meaning The Thin Leafed Oeceoclades

Flower Size .6" [1.6 cm]

Found in Madagascar in moss filled cracks in between calcaraceous boulders as a terrestrial with clustered, ovoid to pear-shaped pseudobulbs carrying a single [rarely 2], apical, more or less erect, linear, acute, coriaceous, dull green mottled purple, paler beneath, variegated apically, shortly petiolate base leaves and blooms in the spring and fall on an erect, racemose to few branched, to 12" [30 cm] long, 5 to 15 flowered inflorescence with adpressed, narrowly triangular, acuminate floral bracts.
