Common Name The Curved Oeonia
Flower Size .8 to .88" [2 to 2.2 cm]
Found in southcentral Madagascar in humid forests at elevations of 1200 to 1500 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a branched, elongate stem carrying leathery, ovate unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the summer on an arising at the base of the leaf sheaths, peduncle spreading, peduncle robust, 2 to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence with broadly ovate, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.
