Common Name Peyrot's Angraecum [French Botanist in Madagascar 1900's]

Found in southwestern Madagascar in forest undergrowth in evergreen forests as a small to medium szied, warm to cool growing terrestrial with obovoid pseudobulbs carrying a single, ovate, acute, tessellated, gradually narrowing below into the 4" [10 cm] long, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring and summer on an erect, simple to branched, to 8" [to 20 cm] lojng, several to many flowered inflorescence.
