Common Name The Distant Flowered Oestlundia [refers to the spacing of the flowers on the inflorescence]

Flower Size 1.4" [3.5 cm]

Found in Mexico and Belize in montane pine rainforests at elevations of 900 to 1350 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with clustered, conic-ovoid pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 3 apical, subcoriaceous, linear, acute leaves that blooms in the summer and early fall on a terminal, racemose or short branched, 6.8 to 16" [17 to 49 cm] long, lax, to 30 flowered inflorescence and carrying fragrant flowers.
