Common Name Lehmann's Oliveriana [German Orchid Collector in South America 1800's]

Found in Huila, Cauca and Putumayo states of Colombia as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a long repent rhizome giving rise to a short erect stem enveloped completely by distichous, oblong-obovate to oblong-elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate, clasping base leaves that blooms on 1 to 2, axillary, erect, to 14" [35 cm] long, remotely 5 to 8 flowered, racemose inflorescence with oblique, ovate-triangular, acute, distant bracts and floral bract and carrying fleshy flowers
