Common Name Angulo's Huntleya [Colombian Architect and nurseryman and discoverer of species current]

Found in the Cauca Colombia at elevations around 1680 meters as an ascending, small [each individual plant] sized cool growing epiphyte with a thin, elongate, voluble, smooth rhizome/inflorescence that at times arise a plant or at others pedicellate flowers with distant, complanate, broadly elliptic pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 non-foliaceous and 2 unequal in size, folicaeous sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, ellipitc, acute leaf that blooms in the summer distantly from the pseudobulb on the rhizome/inflorescence, peduncle 1" [2.5 cm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence with papery, concave, acute floral bracts. .
