Common Name The Beautiful Blooming Oncidium
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in Ecuador and Peru as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with egg-shaped, well spaced pseudobulbs carrying 2, oblong-lanceolate to elliptic-lanceolate, acute to shallowly notched, narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the late spring to early summer on an axillary, climbing, twining, wirey, racemose to paniculate inflorescence with short fractiflex branches with several flowers of which some will be star shaped and infertile. This orchid can grow keikis on it's inflorescence so do not remove it until it is brown.
