Found in Rondonia and Mato Grosso states of Brazil and Bolivia at elevations of 200 to 600 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with elliptic pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 3, apical leaves that blooms in the fall on a semi-erect, to 20" [to 50 cm] long, to 15 flowered inflorescence
