Found in Matto Grosso and Parana states of Brazil at elevations of 500 to 600 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with elliptic pseudobulbs carrying 2, rigid, apical leaves that blooms on an erect, to 12" [to 30 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence
