Common Name The Delta-Like Oncidium [refers to the triangular lip]
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]
Found in Ecuador and Peru at elevations around 1800 to 2100 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with ovate to elliptical, laterally compressed, ancipitous pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 pairs of foliaceous sheaths and carrying 2 to 3, apical, conduplicate, lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms on a 17 to 40" [42 to 100 cm] long, ascending to erect then nodding, paniculate, central stem fractiflex, 5 to 8 branched, rebranching, all in the apical 1/3, each branch 6 to 12 flowered, many flowered inflorescence.
