Plant and Flowers Photos by Maurice van Veen

Common Name The Broad Bed Oncidium

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Brazil as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with linear-oblong, laterally compressed, longitudinally ridged pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, linear-lanceolate leaf and has reference to blooming in the early winter on a basal, shorter, racemose, 2 flowered infloresence.

This species is often cited as a synonym of Oncidum croesus but I have kept them separate at this time.

Kew cites this species as a synonym of O longipes but I have left it separate to date.
