Common Name The Blood-Red Lip Lophiaris

A naturally occuring hybrid between Lophiaris luridum and Lophiaris lanceanum found in Trinidad and Colombia as a small sized, warm to hot growing epiphyte with a single, oblong, acute, leathery, dull green spotted brown leaf that blooms on a erect or arching, to 2' [60 cm] long, paniculate, many flowered inflorescence with very fragrant, long-lasting flowers occuring in the spring and fall.
