Common Name The Hebrew Oncidium [refers to the petals marking looking like hebrew script
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in Colombia and Peru in wet montane forests at elevations of 780 to 1100 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ellipsoid, strongly compressed, ridged and sulcate with age pseudobulbs enveloped basally by a pair of foliaceous sheaths that are smaller than the single, apical, oblong, short-petiolate, obtuse leaf that blooms in the fall and early winter on a pendunculate, paniculate, 3' 4" [1m] long, many short branches with few flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute floral bracts
Cited as a synonym of Oncidium baueri but I feel that they are different.
