Common Name or Meaning The Different Sized Fingers Oncidium

Found in Ecuador and northern Peru at elevations of 1900 to 2100 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with elliptical to narrowly ovate, laterally compressed, ancipitous pseudobulb enveloped basally by 2 short, leafless sheaths and carrying 2, apical, erect, lanceolate, obtuse, conduplicate towards the base leaf that blooms on a panicaulate, heteranthous, ascending, straight, 8 to 10 branched, each branch 3 to 7 fertile flowered, 1 to 2 abortive flowered inflorescence

Similar to and often cited as synomonous with O pentdactylon but differs in the less pronounced crook in the column and the upward pointing middle finger of the calli.
