Common Name Lucas' Oncidium
Flower Size 1.1" [2.9 cm]
Found in Cajamarca department of Peru in cloud forests at elevations around 2950 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with ovoid, subcompressed pseudobulbs enveloped basally by leafless cataphyls and carrying 2, apical, linear-lanceolate, acute, conduplicate below into the base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect becoming arching towards the apex, paniculate, stiff, shortly branched, to 8" [20 cm] long, several florwered inflorescence arising on a newly matured growth.
