Found in Sao Paulo and Santa Catarina states of Brazil as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovoid, laterally compressed, light green, longitudinally grooved pseudobulbs carrying 2, erect to spreading, linear-lanceolate, acute, gradually narrowing below into the narrow, conduplicate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a robust, 8 to 12" [20 to 30 cm] long, flexuous, light green, paniculate, loosely several branched, many flowered inflorescence
