Common Name Rodrigo's Oncidium [Colombian Orchid Enthusiast 1900's]

Flower Size

Found in Antioquia department of Colombia and Ecuador? at elevations of 2300 to 2700 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with ashort rhizome giving rise to narrowly elliptical, ancipitous pseyudobulbs carrying a single, apical, lanceoalte, acute, narrowing below into the petioalt base leaf that blooms on a heteranthous, ascending, peduncel shorter than the rachis, paniculate, rachis shortly 2 to 3 branched, all finely verrucose, with 2 to 3 abortive flowers, the rachis above with 2 to 3 normal flowered inflorescence carrying faintly fragrant flowers.
