Found in Mexico and Guatemala in humid pine/oak forests as a medium sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with an elongate pseudobulb carrying a single, apical leaf that blooms in the summer on an axillary, to 3.4" [1 meter] long, many flowered inflorescence
