Common Name or Meaning Velten's Oncidium

Found in Espirito Santo Brazil in montane rainforest at elevations of 500 to 700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with elongate, fusiform pseudobulbs carrying 1 to 2 apical, erect, obovate to elliptic, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on an axillary, basal, paniculate, shortly few branched, erect to arching, several flowered inflorescence.
