Common Name Warszewicz' Oncidium [German Orchid Collector South America 1800's]

Found in Panama in premontane to montane cloudforests at elevations around 2000 to 3100 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with ovate-elliptic, laterally compressed, ancipitous pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2, leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying 2, apical, erect, lanceolate, unequally bilobed apically, gradually narrowing into the conduplicate, shortly petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer through fall on an ascending, racemose, nodding above, 16" [40 cm] long, 8 to 12 flowered inflorescence with 7 to 10 close bracts and carrying scentless flowers
