Found only in Italy in short grasslands, garrigue, olive groves and roadbanks at elevations up to 850 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid that blooms in the middle of spring on a near lax, erect, terminal, 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence.
