A miniature to just medium sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid from France in short grasslands, banks, clearings in oak forests and in the hills and mountains of the sub Mediteranean zone at elevations of 250 to 1100 meters that blooms in the late spring on an erect, terminal, near lax, 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
