This is a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial orchid that is found in the Aegean Islands and Turkey in short poor grasslands, garrigue, scrub, banks and open woodlands at elevation up to 400 meters and blooms in the spring on an erect, lax, 2 to 11 flowered inflorescence.
