Part sun Cold Spring

Common Name The Yellowy Ophyrs

Flower Size 3/4" [2.3 cm]

A very varied natural hybrid between O bertolini and O sphegodes, that has been narrowly defined as many previous species but I have included them all together here according to Pedersen & Faurholdt. The first photo is O aurelia, all other are as the link says. Found on the Dalmatian coast of Yugoslavia in short grasslands and garrigue at elevations up to 200 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial that blooms in the spring on an erect, terminal, lax, 3 to 5 flowered inflorescence
