Found in Cauca department of Colombia at elevations around 30 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by long, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thinly coriaceous, narrowly-elliptic, acute, bifidnarrowly cuneate below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an arching, arising from near the base of the ramicaul, peduncle .88" [2.2cm] long, rachis 1.12" [2.8 cm] long, loose, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with tubular, oblique, shorter than teh pedicel floral bracts and carrying glabrous flowers.
