Found in Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Yugoslavia as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial orchid with 5 top 9, ovate-lanceolate leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, several [6 to 10] flowered inflorescence occuring in the spring and early summer .
