Common Name Forestier's Ophyrs [French Botanist 1900's]
Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]
Found in southern France in abandoned cultivation and Garrigue at elevations up to 400 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a spindly look that blooms in the early spring on a dense, 2 to 9 flowered inflorescence.
