Found in Greece and the surrounding islands, Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Lebeanon, Israel and Jordan as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid as a relatively slender, 4" to 24" [10 to 60 cm] long, 2 to 12 flowered inflorescence that blooms in the late winter and spring.

Found in southern Albania and the greek Islands of Lesbos, Chios and Samos as well as western Turkey in exposed olive gardens and southern facing roadway slopes as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial where it blooms in the spring on a terminal, [10 to 20 cm] long, 2 to 8 flowered inflorescence.
