Found in the southeastern Transcaucasus and northern Iran at elevations around 1200 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a short stem carrying a whorl of 3 to 5, sessile, elliptic, keeled, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, 8" [20 cm] long, several to many flowered inflorescence
