Common Name The Leafy Orestias

Flower Size .16 to .2" [4.5 to 5 mm]

Found in Gabon, Zaire, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe at elevations around 700 meters as a miniature sized, warm growing terrestrial orchid with an erect stem carrying up to 6, scatterd along the stem, narrowly ovate to ovate, acute to acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, to 3" [to 7.5 cm] long, laxly to 8 flowered inflorescence

This is the Isotype of Orestias foliosa and was collected in 5/1954
