Found in Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with equitant fan-shaped growths carrying numerous, bilaterally compressed, oblong-lanceolate, acute leaves articulate to the persistent, distichous, imbricating sheaths that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an axillary, racemose, 2.4" [6 cm] long, slightly longer than the leaves, several flowered inflorescence with 1 to several, small, lanceolate bracts and subsimilar floral bracts.
