Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 500 to 700 meters as a small sized, warm growing, psygmoid epiphyte with linear-lanceolate, subfalcate, acuminate leaves held in a fan that blooms in the spring on a lateral, 3.2 to 3.6" [8 to 9 cm] long, rachis fractiflex, 6 flowered inflorescence with triangular-ovate, cordate, acute, keel;ed, glandular-erose shorter thann the ovary floral bracts.
