Found in Peru neaar Iquitos at elevations around 100 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a fan of 8 to 10, equitant, spreading in a suborbicular cluster, narrowly elliptic-lanceolate to linear-oblong to elliptic-oblong, acute, apiculate in youth, more or less narrowling into an oblique base leaves that blooms lateral, arising from the leaf axils, spreading to arcuate, subequalling to somewhat exceeding the leaves in length, 3.2 to 6" [8 to 15 cm] long overall, setulose throughout, racemose above, peduncle with 3 to 5 remote, small, amplexicaul, spreading bracts, rachis 1.6 to 5.3" [4 to 13 cm] long, loosely 16 to 18 flowered inflorescence with small spreading, ampleicaul, broadly ovate, glandular-ciliate floral bracts and carrying white and green stgriped with dark green, haiiry flowers
