Found in Cochabamba Bolivia in tropical wet forests at elevations around 550 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with an abbreviate stem enveloped completely by imbricating leaf sheaths carrying 10 to 11, distichous, dorsalventrally flattened, in a fan, subfalcate, fleshy leaves that blooms in the winter on an axillary, suberect, to 4" [10 cm] long, racemsoe, hirsute, 6 to 8 flowered inflorescence with small hisute floral bracts.
