Found in Ecuador at elevations around 70 to 1000 meters as a warm growing, equitant epiphyte with a fan of elliptic-lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, more or less acuminate, somewhat narrowing below into the obliquely articulate leaves that blooms on a lateral, glandular-setose, racemose, peduncle short, rachis to 3.2" [8 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence.
