Common Name The Pushed Close Pachites [refers to the flowers being pressed against the inflorescence]

Flower Size .4 to .56" [1 to 1.4 cm]

Found in south southwestern Cape Province South Africa on mountain slopes in fynbos at elevations of 450 to 1000 meters as a small to medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with 5 to 12, conduplicate, linear, acute leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, 15 to 25 flowered inflorescence with floral bracts that are half the length of the ovary.
