Found in Colombia at elevations of 2500 to 3000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an erect to ascending, delicate, rather densely leafy stem carrying oblong-elliptic to linear-oblanceolate, atteneate towards the acuminate apex, somewhat basally twisted, conduplicate, rather thick, apical margins rather loosely ciliate leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on a somewhat longer than the leaf, to .32" [to .8 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts and carrying minute flowers.
