Found in Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 2700 to 3750 meters as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte with a simple to occasionally basally branching, curved, densely leafy stem enveloped by leaf sheaths and carrying fleshy, lanceolate to ovate, somewhat falcate, hairy margin, minutely toothed towards the apex leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on axillary, to 1/2" [1.25 cm] long, usually 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence carrying small, tubular flowers.
