Found in eastern Nepal and northwestern Yunnan province of China and eastern Nepal at elevations of 2100 to 2800 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial with a narrowly fusiform tuber giving rise to an erect, stem carrying on the middle of the stem, 1 to 2, narrowly linear-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the early fall on an erect, densely 10 to 35 flowered inflorescence with narrowly lanceolate, longer thna the flowers floral bracts
