Found in Hainan province of China at elevations of 1200 to 1850 meters as a minature sized, cool growing epiphyte with pear-shaped, dark green, slightly longitudinally rugose pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, laneolate-elliptic leaves that blooms in the on a terminal, arching, 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence.
