Found in Aceh Province of northern Sumatra at elevations around 1300 meters as a small sized, cool growing lithophyte with one or more growths consisting of 4 to 6, narrowly oblong to oblong-elliptic, obtuse apically, green and dark green mottled above and heavily spotted in linear rows beneath, ciliate along the margin leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, 6 to 7.2" [15 to 18 cm] long, purple, finely pubescent, successively single, many flowered inflorescence with elliptic, acute, green spotted with purple floral bracts.
