Common Name Fowlie's Paphiopedilum [American Orchid Enthusiast current]
Flower Size 2 3/4" [7 cm]
Found in the Philippines at elevations above 500 meters as a small sized, cool to warm growing, semi-terrestrial in pockets of leafmold in limestone rocks with blue gray leaves tesselated with faint patterns that blooms in the spring and summer on an erect, hairy, 10" [25 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
Grow this species potted in a rock and treefern with warm to cool temperatures, moderate light and year round waterings.
