Common Name Supard's Paphiopedilum [Indonesian Orchid Collector current]
Flower Size 4" [10 cm]
Found in Borneo in leaf litter in limestone crevices at elevations around 600 to 1000 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with linear, obtuse, glossy green leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, 12 to 16" [30 to 40 cm] long, red-purple, pubescent, multiflowered [3 to 7] inflorescence with deeply cuculate, lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
